The Mystery Behind Blogging for Bucks
Like many new bloggers, I thought I would become the next pro-blogger back when I first got started. I’m sure you know who I mean, that person who makes a living strictly off of writing on one blog with minimum effort. It didn’t take me long to realize that the minimum effort line was a lie and that I might not even make a living off of what I do. While the money generated through advertising can help, it takes an extremely popular blog to really bring in the bucks.
But there is money to be made.Sure you won’t wake up a millionaire tomorrow but you just might wake up with a few more dollars in your grocery budget.
This is the exact topic that Dane Carlson over at The Business Opportunities Weblog tackled recently (link).
If you could generate $1 a day in ad revenue, whether you used adsense or some other form of advertising base, that would put an extra $30 per month in your pocket. If you create 2 blogs and they generate $1 per day… well, you get the idea.
While Dane directs you to visit BecomeABlogger.com to learn how to blog, I am going to do you one better. I’m going to direct you to my own google search (link).
There is a host of information out there, much of it free. Are you the next ‘mommy blogger’?
