I’ve seen many different definitions for the term mompreneur. Some of them wouldn’t even include me. As it pertains to this blog, my definition of the word is simple:

If you are a mom that is either self-employed or runs a business of any size (big or small), then you are a mompreneur.

My definition includes women who run large companies, smaller home-based businesses, those who sell products through direct sales, freelancers, and everything else in between! While each level of business comes with its own level of difficulty, in business we are all connected by parenthood.
